Daily Inspiration: Man Uses Sign Language to Make Music More Accessible

Matthew Maxey is on a mission to help the deaf community experience music. He founded the company, DEAFinitely Dope, in 2014 and has used sign language to bridge the gap of accessibility and representation in music.

He has worked with acts such as: Logic, D.R.A.M. and Chance the Rapper and takes a special interest in learning to sign rap lyrics because of their creativity. With the creation of DEAFinitely Dope, Maxey hopes to inspire children and adults of the deaf community to live without limits.
